By booking with Ashby Co. Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions help ensure clarity, quality, and fairness for both our clients and our team.
1. Service Agreement
Ashby Co. Services provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services throughout Geelong, Victoria. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the booking.
We accept bank transfer, EFTPOS, and cash.
A 50% deposit may be required at the time of booking for End of Lease cleans.
Late payments may incur a fee and may affect future bookings.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the total service cost.
Missed appointments without notice may result in a full charge and possible refusal of future bookings.
4. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction matters. If you’re not completely happy with your clean, please notify us within 24 hours of the service. We will return promptly to address any issues at no extra cost.
This guarantee does not apply where areas were inaccessible or where pre-existing conditions were present.
5. Access to Property
Clients must ensure clear and safe access to the property at the scheduled time. If we are unable to access the premises, a call-out fee may apply, or the full service may be charged.
6. Limitations of Service
Our services do not include:

Lawn, garden, or outdoor maintenance

Pest control, mould removal, or biohazard cleaning

Lifting or moving heavy furniture or undertaking unsafe tasks

Repairs or handyman work
To help us deliver a thorough clean, please ensure spaces are free of clutter and safe to access.
7. Breakages & Liability
While every care is taken during cleans, accidents can occur. Any incidents must be reported to Ashby Co. Services within 24 hours of the service.
We are fully insured for public liability.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, unsecured fixtures, or highly fragile items unless discussed in advance.
8. Privacy Policy
All client information is kept confidential and used solely for communication and service delivery. We do not share your personal information with third parties.
9. Changes to Terms
Ashby Co. Services reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be published on our website and apply to future services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be handled within this jurisdiction.
11. Overdue Accounts & Debt Recovery
Invoices unpaid after 7 days from the issue date are considered overdue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ashby Co. Services reserves the right to:

Suspend or decline future services

Apply late payment fees

Recover reasonable debt recovery costs, including administration and third-party collection fees
12. Payment Processing Fees
Payments made through third-party platforms or payment processors may attract transaction or processing fees. These fees are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed.
Any discrepancies resulting from processing fees or platform errors will be adjusted on the final invoice.
13. Hourly & Time-Based Services
Where services are billed on an hourly basis:

Time estimates are indicative only and not fixed prices

Final charges are based on actual time spent on-site, including setup and pack-down

Additional tasks requested during the service may incur extra charges
14. Deposits
Deposits secure your booking time and are non-refundable in cases of:

Late cancellations

Missed appointments

Rescheduling outside required notice periods

Refusal or inability to provide access
15. Right to Refuse or Cease Service
Ashby Co. Services reserves the right to refuse or immediately cease services where:

Payment terms are breached
-
Unsafe, hazardous, or unsanitary conditions exist

Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior occurs

The job scope has been materially misrepresented
Charges for time already spent remain payable.
16. Accuracy of Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding property size, condition, access, and required services. Pricing or scope may be adjusted if information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.
17. End of Lease Cleaning
End of Lease cleaning services are completed to a professional standard; however, bond return is not guaranteed, as outcomes are determined by landlords or managing agents.
18. Photos & Documentation
Ashby Co. Services may take before-and-after photos for quality assurance, internal records, or dispute resolution. Images will not be publicly shared without client consent.
19. Reviews & Communications
We welcome honest feedback. False, misleading, or defamatory statements may be addressed through appropriate dispute resolution or legal channels.
20. Force Majeure
Ashby Co. Services are not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including illness, injury, equipment failure, extreme weather, power outages, or emergencies.
